Inverter Technology

DC Inverter
A highly efficient DC motor uses magnetic force to operate the compressor. This dramatically reduces power consumption compared to conventional AC motors.

PAM + PWM Control
The Pulse Amplitude Moderation (PAM) control improves efficienct during high-speed compressor operation to provide more power. The Pulse Width Moderation (PWM) control improves efficiency during low-speed operation to save more energy.

Advanced e-ion Air Purifying System with New Patrol Sensor

A broomerang-like mechanism
  1. Patrol Sensor: Detect the Dirt
  2. e-ion Generator: Shoot and Catches Dirt Particles
  3. e-ion: Negatively Charges and Deactives Dust, Airborne Bacteria and Mould
  4. e-ion Filter: Positively Charges Collected Dirt by the Filter

2-in-1 value with full-scale air purifying: Our new air conditioners offer the same performance as full-scale air purifier! Even without switching on the air conditioners.

New Patrol Sensor

Color changes to indicate the dirt level in the air
A patrol sensor monitors microscopic dirt in the air and air purification starts as soon as the dirt level passes the unhealthy point. The sensor continues operating even when the air conditioner is switched OFF to maintain room air quality.

Eco-Friendly

New HFC refrigerant (R410A) does not damage the ozone layer. It provides better ozone protection than the currently used R22 refrigerant.

Hilton vs. Panasonic Corporation of North America

A class action lawsuit, Hilton vs. Panasonic Corporation of North America, was filed on February 27, 2007 in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County, and removed to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. The plaintiffs are Sheri Hilton, Jay Grover, Joseph Morgan and Christine Morgan on behalf of the proposed class against PNA. Class members are all persons who purchased a 2002 or 2004 Model Panasonic Multimedia Projection Display LC-Series television set with model numbers PT-40LC12, PT-45LC12, PT-43LC14, PT-50LC14 or PT-60LC14. Panasonic denies any wrongdoing, but after extensive negotiations the parties have reached a settlement of these claims.

If you are the purchaser of one of the named model televisions and experienced an out-of-warranty, or un-reimbursed lamp failure within 24 months of the date of purchase, you may be a member of the Class entitled to reimbursement for the replacement cost of one (1) lamp with proof of purchase of the television and lamp.
The settlement is explained in detail on the Class Administrator’s website at www.LC-SeriesTelevisionsSettlement.com., or information can be obtained by contacting the Class Administrator at 1-866-342-7726.
